Some
projects we've been working on lately: |
|
|
-
Just started the Einstein Coat from Sally
Melville's Knit book, in Cascade 128, in a dark grey/blue
color. It's moving quicker than I thought, it's nice
and mindless, just right for some days and ... it should be
done by fall.
Felted hedgehogs, bunnies and other creatures,
and the new Gelato bag - using Cascade 128, Harrisville
Orchid, Cascade 220, EcoWool and other felting yarns --
quick, fun projects
-
the Easy Pie Wedge Shawl in Heaven from
Lorna's Lace - the pattern is free with Heaven and Helen's
Lace - the shawl is easy to knit, addicting and looks
unbelievable on everyone who's tried it on!
-
Baby Bobbi Bear with Blue Sky Cotton - he's
actually become really skinny from being hugged and squeezed
so often
-
a short-sleeve T-shirt with Frog Tree's Pima
Cotton/Silk - not immediate gratification, but definitely
worth the time
-
Sheldon the Turtle from Knitty.com in Luna
(yes, there is a slight obsession with stuffed toys - my
kids are only partly responsible)
-
Socks from the new Cat Bordhi book -- they
look and fit great

If you want to learn to knit, or just need some confidence building or help in a specific area, Learn To Knit classes are ongoing every week – check the “Hours and Lessons” page for details. In addition, there will be special classes on felting, finishing, lace work, designing, and anything else there's an interest in. And I'm always happy to help, anytime, with individual projects.
